Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Postal LDCE 2025
Eligibility is based on service and pay level as of 01 January 2025.
Category A:
- Level 3: 3 years regular service or
- Level 2: 5 years regular service including Level 1
- Level 1: 5 years regular service
Category B:
- Level 1/2/3 officials with 8 years total regular service including GDS period
- If GDS service is before 17-06-2022: 5 years total service is sufficient
Note:
Category B candidates will be considered only if sufficient Category A candidates are unavailable.
Karnataka Postal LDCE 2025 Selection Process
The LDCE will include:
- Paper-I: Objective-type questions based on Postal Guides, Departmental Rules, and General Awareness
- Paper-II: Local language writing (essay and letter) and translation (removed in 2024 amendment)
- Data Entry Skill Test (DEST): Conducted separately on the same day
