Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on date range)

  • Navik (GD) / Navik (DB): Born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008
  • Yantrik: Born between 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy)

Educational Qualifications

  • Navik (GD): 10+2 with Maths & Physics
  • Navik (DB): 10th pass
  • Yantrik: 10th pass + Diploma (3/4 years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Telecom OR 10th & 12th + 2/3 years diploma (AICTE approved)

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Selection will be done in four stages:

  1. Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Stage II: Document Verification, PFT (1.6 km run in 7 mins, 20 squats, 10 pushups), Medical Exam
  3. Stage III: Final Document Verification & Medicals at INS Chilka
  4. Stage IV: Final Document Scrutiny before training

Merit list for Navik (GD/DB) is zone-wise, while for Yantrik it is all-India basis.
