The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) through its ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) has announced a major recruitment drive under Advt. No. ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC):2025 dated 27.05.2025. A total of 319 vacancies are available for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in various disciplines including Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. Eligible candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent in the respective discipline can apply online from 27th May 2025 to 16th June 2025. Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification	Age Limit
Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA in the following disciplines: Electronics & Communication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science Engineering Final year students of academic year 2024-25 may also apply if they complete their degree by 31.08.2025.	Maximum age: 28 years as on 16.06.2025 Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.

 

ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

• ₹250 is the non-refundable application fee.
• All candidates must pay ₹750 upfront as processing fee.
• Refund of ₹750 for exempted candidates (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women) and ₹500 refund for others, only if they appear for the written test.

Payment is accepted via Internet Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Cards through BharatKosh.

ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2025 Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix with a starting basic pay of ₹56,100/- per month, plus DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance. They will also be eligible for other benefits like:

ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Written Test	Interview
Date & Venue: To be held in 11 cities across India. Pattern: 120 minutes duration, two sections: Part A: 80 technical questions (MCQs) – 1 mark each, -1/3 negative marking Part B: 15 aptitude questions – total 20 marks (no negative marking)	Candidates shortlisted in 1:5 ratio based on written test. Final merit will be based on 50% written test + 50% interview. Interview evaluates academic knowledge, awareness, communication, and comprehension.
