The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2025 notification to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India. The recruitment is open for graduates across the country through the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL).

SSC CGL 2025 Posts & Pay Levels

SSC CGL 2025 will recruit for several Group B and C posts including:

📌 Group B (Pay Level-7 & 6: ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 / ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400)

• Assistant Section Officer (CSS, MEA, IB, Railways, etc.)
• Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise, Preventive Officer
• Sub Inspector (CBI, NIA)
• Junior Statistical Officer
• Statistical Investigator Grade-II

📌 Group C (Pay Level-5 & 4: ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 / ₹25,500 to ₹81,100)

• Auditor & Accountant (CAG, CGDA, CGA)
• Tax Assistant (CBDT, CBIC)
• Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant
• Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Senior Secretariat Assistant

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2025

Nationality	Age Limit (as on 1 Aug 2025)	Educational Qualification (as on 1 Aug 2025)
Must be an Indian citizen or as defined under official norms for Nepal, Bhutan, and PIO migrants	Minimum- 18 Years Maximum- 32 Years Age relaxation applies for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD, ESM, and others.	All Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Graduate with 60% in Maths at 12th level or Statistics at degree level. • SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: No Fee

• Register for One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new portal
• Complete the application form
• Upload photo, signature, and necessary documents
• Pay the fee online and submit
